What a celebration at Whiting!

Pen Air FCU was out at NAS Whiting Field Saturday to celebrate the base's 66th birthday. The big event: Lonestar in concert - for free! Plus, food, jump houses, static displays, freebies, raffles and so much more!
The Pen Air FCU Marketing team was on site at 7 a.m, gearing up for the event. Conditions were a bit cold and windy at first, but the day warmed up to be quite comfortable.

The Mobile Service Center was on site to provide an ATM for attendees, plus we had a tented booth where we were raffling off a stainless steel barbecue set. We had plenty of freebies on hand - koozies, pencils, pens, balloons for the kids and the very popular expandable flying disc.

If you were at the event, you couldn't miss all the Pen Air FCU banners or the team members in the bright blue "Join It." shirts. Perhaps they greeted you at the gate, stopped by your spot in the crowd or helped you at the booth - they seemed to be everywhere! A huge thanks to the event team: Carol Allen, Crystal Barrett, Debbie Cooper, Jessica Guthrie, Jonathan McIntosh, Jennifer Parker, Beverly Peacock, Steven Thames and Debbie Weagle (left).
