The League of Southeastern Credit Unions has named Pen Air Federal Credit Union Board of Directors Chairman Maurice Johnson the 2011 Volunteer of the Year. Johnson will be honored in conjunction with the LSCU’s Annual Convention and Exposition Closing General Session June 18 in Orlando, Fla.
“I want to thank all of the people who helped me,” Johnson said. “You can’t do it by yourself. I want to thank my wife, the other volunteers and the staff and all of the employees who helped me get this. And I also want to thank League for the opportunity.”
