Foreign transaction fee is 1.0% of each transaction in U.S. dollars.     Holiday Shopping Safety Tips    Keep you and your holiday purchases safe with our list below.   With the holiday season fast-approaching, millions of Americans will be out shopping to get last-minute gifts and catch great sales. As the crowds increase, however, so does the likelihood of crime. Here are 10 tips for you and your family to stay safe while shopping this year:  Always store items out of sight. Breaking into a seemingly empty car isn’t worth a thief’s time. Also, remember to remove GPS units and the docking station (most of these are suctioned to the windshield). Be especially cautious when shopping during evening hours. Only park in well-lit areas, and try to avoid shopping alone. Have your car keys ready before walking to your car so that you do not have to search for them in the parking lot. Never leave your car running while you run inside your home or into a store—even if it is just for a moment. Do not carry your birth certificate or social security card in your wallet or purse. Speak with your children about a plan in the event you become separated while shopping. If you have to take a call or answer a text message, remember to remain aware of your surroundings. Keep track of all credit/debit cards and keep receipts to compare to your monthly statement. Report all suspicious people or activity to law enforcement. Go with your instincts. Have fun! Members requesting to receive a check may contact a Member Service Representative at (850) 505-7811 after the first week in November.         Our Community   MANNA and Prodisee Pantry Food Drive   Pen Air FCU is offering a helping hand to local food pantries, and we could use your help!   Are you feeling the holiday cheer yet? Let’s help make the season a little brighter for families on the Gulf Coast. Now through Friday, November 7th, donate your non-perishable food items to any Pen Air FCU branch for our annual Food Drive. All food collected will be donated to MANNA Food Pantries  in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, and the Prodisee Pantry in Baldwin County. Thank you for your generosity and support!   Toys for Tots   Drop off your toy donations to give children in our community a reason to smile this Christmas.   Pen Air FCU will once again partner with the United States Marine Corps for their annual Toys for Tots drive.  Pen Air FCU branch locations will serve as donation sites for new, unwrapped toy donations throughout the holidays. All toy donations will be distributed to children throughout our community before the Christmas holiday. Toys for Tots is a foundation run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that collects new, unwrapped toys to distribute as Christmas gifts for more than 7,000 children each year.
