Technology security experts agree that individual vigilance is the best means to reduce the long-term effects of such data security breaches. Money Manager from Pen Air FCU offers tools to help you to track your transactions to discover whether any of your accounts have been exposed. Aggregating your account information, even from financial institutions other than Pen Air FCU makes Money Manager the best way to monitor for potential problems. Simple Steps Stop Fraud: 1. On the Dashboard of Money Manager, go to the Search function. Enter a merchant’s name, and check to see if any of your accounts were exposed to a known threat. The Advanced Search allows you to check transactions for the past 90 days. 2. Add any external accounts that you have at other institutions (like credit cards and checking accounts) using the Add button on the dashboard to start monitoring those accounts for issues as well. Using Money Manager from Pen Air FCU to track potential exposure and fraud allows you to keep command of your financial future. Pen Air FCU has once again partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps for their annual Toys for Tots drive. All Pen Air FCU branch locations will serve as donation sites for new, unwrapped toys. Donations will be accepted until Thursday, December 4th and will be distributed to children throughout our community before the Christmas holiday. Click here to find your nearest Pen Air FCU branch location.   Wrapping Them in Love Recent blanket drive will help to keep hundreds of local seniors warm this winter. Last month, Pen Air FCU employees partnered with Granny Nannies, an organization dedicated to caring for the elderly, and collected new fleece blankets to keep local seniors warm. The original goal to provide at least 50 blankets was met and quickly grew to a total donation of over 300 blankets! With the help and generous donations from both members and employees, Pen Air FCU was able to donate over 600 pounds of non-perishable food items to MANNA Food Pantry and Prodisee Pantry this year! These donations will go to help hundreds of local families to have food on their tables this holiday season. We are proud to live and work in a community where people are so willing to help those in need.
